In Richard Patterson opinion, there are a total of six factors that includes all social, economical and culture factors of producing something new. So in this case, the six factors which were technology, law, industry structure, organisation structure occupational career and the market. These are used to explore and explain the reason for the emergence of a new music genre Rock ‘n’ Roll.
However, there was limitations towards his research as he only explored how the music was of Rock ‘n’ Roll emerge and not why.
In addition, one of the major flaw is that popular artist such as Elvis Presley were not mentioned and as a matter of fact he was way Rock n’ Roll became so popular.

Your analysis never really gets beyond listing Peterson's ideas and your suggestion that Elvis was the definitive reason for the success of rock 'n' roll is a little naive.
